Experience: I've been writing for many years for myself, including fanfiction and original stories. I've written two one-act plays which have been performed at my high school. I am working on a story for Erica Friedman's "Yuri Monogatari," she seemed to enjoy the writing I submitted, :)
I RPed for a short while with the character Claudine from "Claudine!" but gave up because the RP I was a part of had no idea who she was, as well as was far from being yuri-friendly. I also RPed a strange half-of-a-school girl in KHcrack, but I was honestly just trying to annoy people.
Character Name: YOO Shi-Eun
Age: 17
Race: South Korean
Magic: Magic diary writing skills. You'd have to see the movie. Oh, yeah, telepathy.

Year/Subject: Junior
Why do you wish to play this character?: Shi-Eun is a very tragically beautiful character from one of Korea's first films about lesbians, "Memento Mori." As much as it is a "horror" film, it is more a moving recounting of a couple that initially seems to have it all figured out but end up falling apart under social pressure and mistrust. If you haven't seen Memento Mori, I'd say watch it.
History: YOO Shi-eun was a member of her school's Track Team, although she was advised not to be, because of her ear-related ailments. MIN Hyo-shin, a beautiful though strange girl who is alienated by her classmates, admires her, and one day, while the two are in detention together (for sneaking out of an assembly) they find themselves admitting their feelings and begin to write a diary together about their love. However, Hyo-shin ends up cheating on her while inebriated, shattering the trust they once shared... nothing Hyo-shin can do or say can bring them back together. Shi-eun tells her off harshly, and Hyo-shin kills herself... and then takes her vengeance on the students in their school from beyond the grave. Min-ah, a younger student, finds their shared diary and becomes attracted to Shi-eun, trying to protect her at every turn.
Personality-wise, Shi-eun is very quiet, simply because she is near-deaf. She is also stand-offish and gives of an air of tension because she does not wish to have anyone see her as weak. She is a bit mistrustful, though apparently quite creative and loving. Also, she doesn't always do well with public relationships.
Posting Writing Sample:
Sitting silently on her bed, Shi-eun slipped on her head-phones, pressing the "play" button... nothing. Just a whisper of music, as if through deep water, or maybe in a memory from years ago? With anger she tore them from her useless ears, and onto the floor they fell. The tape deck popped open. That was stupid, she though, chewing her lip. She kicked her legs over with a bit more drama than she had intended (perchance a habit she had picked up from Hyo-shin? Or maybe one she'd created for her, to entertain?). While she contemplated such things, she recovered her Walk man from its resting place.
[Min-ah], she called silently, within her head, the image of her youthful new acquaintance on the tip of her mind. [Min-ah, I want to listen to music...]
There was nothing but that watery noise in her ears, barely a noise at all, and she wondered if Min-ah could hear her even though they were far apart. She closed her eyes momentarily, about to call again, louder this time, and then--
A symphonic explosion enveloped her mind. She felt a small smile tug at the corner of her mouth... if only Min-ah liked something other than Classical Music...
Journal Writing Sample:
I wonder sometimes exactly what is she
Does she truly find solace in me?
It is true that there is warmth within she
But is that warmth reserved for me?
"We kiss with poison apples" said she
These kisses poison me
In the corners of our mind I search for she
Though within our mind there is not room for me
I am not gone without that anchor, she
But I fear what will become of me.
