Belated, but as promised
So! Entry of Positivity is a go.
The wedding my band played at this last Saturday went quite well (our timing was spot-on yessssss I'mstillsorryaboutthatAnne), and I got to learn a new song for which I actually sing lead. Band's been a lot of fun recently, if tiring, so I've been actually looking forward to practice, which since I'm an inherently lazy person is unusual.
Roommates have happened, one of whom randomly does all the dishes all the time, and I acquired FMA and GW with the help of Susy and Derek, which has been awesome. Also, I've gotten more writing done, although not as much as I'd like, partially because I lack feedback but don't want to ask for it due to the story being full of holy shit triggers and also being OC-centric.
Mostly I've been trolling norsekink and avengerkink, both of which are eating my life a bit because fanfic. I primarily wade through for gen prompts, and also Loki!whump, which has been surprisingly fruitful. It's eaten enough of my spare time to worry me a little bit, in a vestigial, background sense, because the majority of me is still glee-ing over extraordinarily well-handled fusions of movieverse with actual Norse myth.
Doing fine financially; spending lots of time with Jeremy; having spectacular gaming with Sal and facilitating everyone else's gaming besides. Soon, Sal and Jeremy will have internet, because one of my roommates is transferring his to the house and I'm transferring mine to the apartment. This will hopefully result in even better gaming since Sal will have ready access to all of the extremely detailed notes I keep on LJ for him to reference.
There's kind of bad stuff still happening regarding work/time off/medical things, at a mercifully lower level, but I refuse to include specifics right now. Right now I'm watching The Forgotten and contemplating going to a movie with Jeremy and being generally sleepy/warm/happy.
