Another great day on the cape playing a visitor.
I had a lot of fun today. I hung out with Jennie and Beanie which was awesome since I haven't seen Tibrine since June and I wasn't able to hang out with Jennie yesterday so it was awesome that I was able to nab her today. I should really start extending my stays here at home for 2 reasons
a. It takes a while to get here so I should spend more time anyways
b. I feel bad telling my friends that I only have 2 days to spend with them.
I feel like I'm rushing them or digging around their time to make time for me. I don't know. I'm probably just being paranoid or whatnot but whatever. I should come home for longer periods of time though.
Dad was talking to me about how I should go about getting a car. He told me that I should save up about $5,800 in order to cover the cost of a decent, used car and insurance (since I'm a good driver I don't have to pay very much which is awesome) and have about $1000 in savings just in case anything happens to it and it breaks down or whatnot. Which makes a lot of sense. So from now on I've decided to listen to my Dad (as I always should since whether or not I think so at the time he's pretty much always right)and put $50-$100/week into a savings account. He said that by this time next year I should have a car. Which makes sense. I'm glad we talked about it. I love having an excuse to read for 5 hours straight...but I would much rather have my own car and go about my business at my own time. I miss Speedy...I wish I hadn't given it up. Oh well. No regrets...only mistakes to learn from right?
I have to get up at a crazy time like 4:15 in order to catch a train in Kingston with Billy. It'll be nice driving up with him...we can get coffee and chit chat and whatnot. Maybe some Panic! At the Disco will help wake us up...along with lots and lots of caffeine. Yay! So I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open so I'm gonna kick it now. I just wanted to post that I had an awesome time here this trip to the Cape and I can't wait to come back and do it all again. Thanks to my friends and family for being as awesome and amazing as they are.
