Keep runnin, keep running, keep running your victory lap!
Summer was pretty good... Prom kicked it off on a drunk trip. That weekend had to be one of the most insane weekends I've ever experienced. All starting with James crashing the car, to the first road trip of summer to Claudia's cottage, to Francesco never being so drunk... I went to highschool with some pretty unforgettable characters.
July naturally followed with spontanious trips to Wasaga - only with the most random groups of people or course. CNE adventures late at night, the Drive-at-5 movies, and roughing it out at a camp for 4 days with a bunch of the most craziest people straight out of Ascension. Of course there were moments not so good, but you can't have everything. It wasn't a bad break-up, at least I didn't think so... Thinking about the summer's past just makes me cringe with excitement for next year.
It's a bitter sweet feeling to see everyone in University and College. Good to know that they're making something of them selves, growing into their own individuals. It's scary. When you leave highschool you actually have to BE somebody out there... crazy.
Coming back to Ascension had to be smartest decision yet. It wasn't easy, but it was well worth it. It took me fucking 3 days just to unroll in Lincoln! That school's messed up. Brand new school, and a brand new Oriel walking through the doors. She's changed from grade 9. But not like everyone else who's been there since the begining of highschool, and who've known each other for almost forever, she's different. It's nostalgic looking at everyone's student cards and remembered who they were during that year. I of course look as though I shouldn't be in highschool anymore...but we won't comment on that.
This is my year to redeme myself of the two years I wasted. That's just like me, cramming in as much as I can and scrambling to make up for time I lost. Initiave is one thing that I will definately try to work on this year. Big plans, and big goals ahead of me. All I have to do is just keep at it.
