Still Here

I am still here and among the living. Even though I really don't feel like it. Last week was a short work week for me, and it is not because of the memorial day. I got hit with a rather nasty and severe Asthma attack Thursday night. It seems as I get older the attacks become more severe. There were several times I was coughing so hard that I started to throw up. Then add the wheezing to the mix it was not a fun time. While all this was happening, in the back of my mind was working fron NS back in 2004 during the fire. Luckily Charlie called the dispatcher and got a hold of the life sqaud. I am really not going to go into the details, but I really hate Asthma; I really hate the life squad (especially when the try to insert an IV); and I hate hospitals!

This week I am back on the same job going on duty at 9pm. What sucks is this job normally dogs. So oh what joy. Not really. Hopefully this week will be a little bit better. Hopefully no problems with my asthma this week. I am still trying to find a some what peremant place to reside in Kentucky. So far I have not had any luck. I really want to stay north of Lexington. Georgetown would be nice, but Georgetown is not cheap either. Only time will tell.

Nothing much else is going on in my life. When I get home I need to start packing stuff up. Oh what joy.

Hopefully in a week I will still be among the living. I still feel drained from the other night.
