Eleleth

is the name of a famous Gnostic angel, particularly well-known from Nag Hammadi but also populating Egyptian magical literature of the later Roman and early Arabic period. I am writing a short study of him and his "afterlife" in these texts. I thought I'd take a look at his permutations in the google, and I found a decent sludge/shoegaze band named after him.
