Last Night
Last night I went to two fun birthday parties. We saw Labyrinth at one. I haven't seen it before. It's the weirdest thing.
It's too scary (weird) for little kids to like, and too stupid for older kids to like. So now it just brings back weird memories for people our age!
But we had to leave early to make it to my editor/friend's 40th birthday at the Starline. It was really fun and I'm so glad I went. I really like Joe. He's really one of the best guys I've probably ever met. He performed basically the whole time, which was cool since I've never seen him on stage before. He's pretty talented.
I also got to see a good friend who just moved to L.A., so that was good. He was a coworker and left unexpectedly, so it was real nice to get to catch up with him. Christine was good company and didn't mind staying till 2:30. She got to meet some work people, so now she'll know who the weirdos I'm always talking about are. It was cool to see so many people in one place who were all connected somehow.
I can only hope I'd be able to bring that many people to one place for a big event of mine.
