Where to begin? I can no longer keep up with my own life since every day brings new surprises and excitement that I never saw coming. I suppose I should start with the biggest news of all, the whole being almost 5 months pregnant thang. We announced it forever ago on Facebook so it’s totally old news now but it still seems completely unreal to us. Even though we already have a nursery with clouds painted on the walls, it hasn’t quite sunk in yet what this all means for us in the near future. Exciting and quite terrifying but I think we’re actually ready for this.
The next big news is that we just moved to the East Bay into a super cute house that was built in 1910 that is close to everything. After living in the woods for so long it is super exciting to be able to walk to anything plus we are just a few blocks from BART which can take us to San Fran or Oakland in mere minutes. I finally feel like I live in the Bay Area even though we’ve actually been here for almost 1 ½ years already just very far away from everything and everyone. Now if I could just find my way through all these piles of boxes I’d be completely content.
The last big news for us is that we’re now both paid bloggers. Seriously! You can get paid to blog and now we do which has a lot to do with why I haven’t stayed very current here in LJ land. Who wants to give it out for free if someone will pay for it? Huh, mental note: probably not the lesson I want to teach my child. So, we’re slowly figuring out how to make the most money possible which is slow going right now but steadily increasing as we get more efficient writing our posts. It’s all about maximizing our words in as little time as possible. Word count is my friend, yo.
