(no subject)
yesterday:
1)i bought my mom a new wallet and treated both her and my dad to dinner at cpk (i wore the i love mom t-shirt i bought with the twins in san francisco!). so now im broke but it's okay, it's not everyday i get to take my folks out. it feels really nice to be able to spend for them. it makes up for the times i felt terrible about giving up fun for work.
2)another cool thing that happened yesterday, i found out the deep, dark secret of my new assistant, anj. EXTRA PALA SIYA SA BAGONG MOVIE NI JUDAY!!!! (read: I WILL SURVIVE) And not just one of those extras that blend in the crowd. May EXTREME CLOSE-UP yung loka. Pasayaw-sayaw at may solo pa. i didn't know if i was going to beam with pride or hide in my seat. Anyhow, it was hilarious. my mom was thrilled, of course (if you didn't know yet, my mother is a die-hard fan of judy ann santos..and yes, she voted for jamby madrigal). i texted bogey to let him in on the secret but as it turned out, naalaska na pala nya si angela. he caught the movie the day before. thinking about it now though, mas appropriate ata kung si liby yung nag-extra kay juday. we've always felt that she was the missing link between judy-ann and jamby.
today:
i braved the hot, phase 3 basketball court and voted for pia, pia, pia cayetano. the court was too stuffy for my body to bear. it was like being in UP all over again. just as i used to do after enlistment, i spent the rest of the afternoon napping to recover.
