Mondays!
Well, most people believe that Mondays are the worst part of the week!
My Monday wasn't too bad today! Being 36 & divorced, I've become used to being on my own again. Today, at about 1 pm, there was a knock on my door. There stood someone, asking to take me to dinner this weekend! What a nice surprise! Of course, I accepted! A nice chance to get out for a little while, with some adult conversation. If nothing else, I've had a nice dinner! :0)
Ben & Dustin had a baseball game tonight. It became the first game they have lost this season: 8-9. But they played a good game & they had fun. That's what they need to learn. Lord knows there are others out there (including some parents!) that need to learn this, also. They're children! Let them have fun! Winning IS NOT everything!
Only bad thing for today was Ben had a wreck on his bike. Really tore up his knee & elbow! But, of course, not badly enough to not play ball tonight!
