What: Movies on the roof
When: Night of May 6
Who: Me, Alex, Felicia, Jiggy, Laurie, Marris and Trevor (lost Andy and Keely after Shabu)
After Trevor's last shabu dinner before going away to New York, I really wanted us to go have wine on top of my roof becuase it was insanely warm, but the boys really wanted to see a movie.
As a crazy compromise and idea that actually worked out, I hauled my TV with a built in DVD player onto the roof (dangerously powered by multiple extension cords strung together). We brought chairs, stools, sleeping bags, pillows and most importantly CORONAS and lime (thanks Marris) and watched Nacho Libre under the stars.
If this becomes a regular thing, I really want a HD projector b/c there's a great clean white wall up there that would make a perfect screen.
