not much data, in fact none. As long as I buy a new one (ARRRGHH) all data can be transferred as harddrive intact. Just all the expensive shit buggered.

Gah, yeah, annoyingness. Completely self-inflicted annoyingness. :( Bob has now been at least tangentially related to the death of both a laptop and an external harddrive... I think his cute has an evil undercurrent. ;)

That sucks majorly! Hope no vids died with it. There is a looooot of water in Australia at the moment, isn't it? It was just a question of time till the evil water was going to get to your laptop. It might have looked like YOU flicked the glas, but I'm sure there were higher powers involved.

I think you are onto something there! There is so much water we don't know what to do with it and have become quite careless. The shop said I was the sixth person in with water damage so far this year. I guess we just aren't used to water ... :p

Our flooding is nothing compared to Queensland. WOE Queensland! :(( But there definitely is more water around than anyone (even plants!) know what to do with... the trees in my street have all decided it must be autumn and shed their leaves in a fit of confusion last week.
