Okay I've re-watched it ten thousand times, and I love it more and more and girl, that song you chose is VICIOUS! It can't leave my head now, I'm making my roommates crazy. I especially adore the bit where the song says "you're only angry 'cos you wish you were in my position" with Bill, I laughed my ass off. Well, the lyrics are incredibly fitting, and you, are teh awesumz.

Okay, back to watch it one more time.

P.S. : and "Vikings" in the warning is perfect, yes, the world should be warned about those. XD

Thank you so much! :D The song is incredibly addictive isn't it? ;) It wouldn't leave me alone either, hence: vid! It was great fun to play with though Trent Reznor's phrasing was occasionally a bitch to work around. All worth it though!

It is excellent and even better in full screen. The whole play about Godric being Eric's god is fantastic and seing Eric in tears always brings sadness to my fluttering heart.

Ooh lovely!! I'm not sure I can remember how to intelligently talk about vids so I will just say that I love the pacing and how perfectly it fits the music. So stylish! And yum.

Oh and also, how it doesn't sentimentalize or woobify Eric (or Godric). They're hanging out in all their brutal glory, which is perfect.

Haha, I think you remembered exactly! Glad you liked it. It managed to be stylish AND have Vikings? Wow, only Alexander Sarsgard could pull that off... and yeah, I'm really not into woobifying the vicious killing creatures they are, though Eric's emo is so major!

Oh this. This is just beautiful...and such a brilliant song choice...I must rewatch (over and over) because I'm sure I'll have more to say but on first viewing I was GLUED to the screen. Wickedly clever editing and superb scene selections...Guh. I'm up to book 8 of the series and it's just getting better and better!

Hee, um, yeah, it does rather lurch from extreme to extreme. Eric is just so major. I was actually looking for a NIN track for a completely different project when I found this one and it was too perfect to ignore.
