Earlier this week, I replied to
mskatej's post about
crying, saying Friday Night Lights frequently made me tear up. Yet, somehow I forgot that when I decided to watch 3.04 while premenstrual. BIG mistake!
Smaaaaaash! OMG, I bawled so much. I have been really enjoying the arc of Coach giving him special training, but I didn't realise how invested I was in his journey until Coach made that determined speech for him at the college training session. Wow. I think no other plot has shown quite so deeply how committed Coach is to the boys he trains, and how he makes them into 'young men' like Tami said. I was so happy for him, and so sad that we won't see him so much, and I'm so happy for Mama Smash and his family and I know he'll work hard... and I love that the guys took him out for one last run on the home turf (but Jason should have been there), and waaaaaaaaahhh! *sniffles*
I need to make a longer FNL post about this season when I get time but I think I'm going to go hug a pillow for a while.
mskatej, now is a bad time to watch "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly", yes? (I have it on my harddrive...)
