new and interesting things everyday
highlight of my day:
so i had this interview for this 4 day children camp and the munroe center during vacation, and the girl who interviewed me, the director said.
"so if you like this april vacation, you could totally come back and be a councelor during the summer" and imlike, wellllllllll, i actually go to camp myself. and she waslike, i used to go to camp! and me being an idiot, i mean like...what are the chances of me knowing what camp she went to, i go "OH REALLY WHAT CAMP!?"
so she says " i was a young jeudeah-in acutally"(another jewish camp) and i go "no way! i go to yavneh! we play against YJ!" and she was like "i KNOW YAVNEH! some of my friends went there, but....you guys weren tthe best at sports WERE you!?" amd i go" yea we win...yavneh style" and then she says...."I remember that saying!"
anyways, i learned a bunch of family secrets recently, i guess my family just neglected to tell me all this
1. my dad was ina faternity(sp?), i only found b.c cv said something in the car that led my dad to talking about it
2. my uncle wrote a letter to Ronald Reagan and he then called my uncle and discussed the issue!
3. my great aunt, who we were surprisingly close with, was a chef for the israeli....fuck i forget, but it was some big high government postion.
