Convocation Shuffle, part the first
Well, I convocated this morning. Quite the experience, and I have the photos to prove it. I was the last, very last, person in the group. I was damn thirsty and hungry by the time I found the bottled water and cookies. Nice cookies.
I didn't get to wear a silly hat, just the robes and the snazzy sash. Green and white stripes - the same as my high school's sash!
I spoke to Auntie J on the phone earlier this evening, and found out that Miss Emily, Most Precious Kitten Goddess, was just fine while alone yesterday. She hasn't let J up off of the couch, and is thoroughly enjoying watching some bad TV. Auntie J will be visiting Miss Em on Saturday and Sunday, too. Then we're back home!
I miss my kitty. I'm surrounded by a large number of dogs. I met my nephew today, and even held him (first time holding an infant, I kid you not)!!
