I tried to convince
eniastoa to cook dinner yesterday, using our nice electric pressure cooker. He said that he doesn't know how to use it, and doesn't like the way it operates. Once it starts cooking, you're out of luck if you want to add anything to the pot - and that's just not the way he cooks. I was tired, so I gave up, reheated a falafel, and decided to make the stew myself on the next day.
So, a bunch of us at work today ended up discussing the joys of using a pressure cooker in the kitchen. Much to my amazement, all five of us had husbands who do not(or will not) use the pressure cooker. And all for the same reason - "once it starts cooking, you can't do anything to it".
Yes, I made the stew. A damn fine stew. It's now damn fine leftovers.
