Photo-a-Week 2009
Today was a busy day for me.
I left the apartment - in the morning.
I had tea with lynedd and liadra, and eniastoa joined us partway through.
I managed to get my bus pass and some necessaries at the bulk food place downtown.
I bumped into other people I know while wandering downtown, and ended up having coffee with them, too.
And I remembered that I had forgotten to post any pictures this week. So, I captured some icicles on the way home.
It looked to me as if some icy Cthulhu was slowly engulfing the roof of our local variety store. (Then again, it could have just been an effect of all the caffeine!) I liked the various textures - the wavy smoothness of the icicles, rough bricks, cracked paint, and cheap particle board. Hopefully some of the detail shows through - ice and snow are notoriously tough to capture effectively.
