Banishing the cold
This afternoon, I headed out to run some errands. I took my brand-new mittens with me, since it was so gosh darned cold out. And, boy, I tell you I'm glad I had them!
These are Thrummed Mittens, nice wool mittens with alpaca wool roving inside. So warm and toasty!
They were so easy to make. However, I didn't particularly like the 'big tube' pattern. I think I'm going to make another pair - with a little less padding, and a more hand-like shape.
Of course, I'll probably have to make someone a hat first. ;-P
