(no subject)
Ok, here's the deal. I sent out an event invitation to people I thought might come, but it turns out that the invite system on Myspace is severly flawed, and not everybody gets the notification properly. And since I don't keep a proper email address book, this is the next best option.
This weekend is my birthday. Seriously. Here's the deal(s):
Friday:
Who: You, whoever you are.
What: Me, assholes.
When: This Friday, May 11th.
Where: Bootlegger's, downtown Minneapolis. Sad, but true, I picked this place over many other's vying for our drunken stupidity dollars.(Jon, Anthony, Jesse: They have nice stairs. FOR DIVING!)
Why?: Why not?
When I first chose this place, I thought the $1 drinks went longer than they did. I was wrong. My bad.(I didn't just write that, no. Twas your 'magination)
I am getting there at 6pm, whether you join me or not.
4-7pm: Flip for free drinks. Tails, the bar buys your drink. Heads, you pay. Effectively half price drinks. Granted, you have to have to look at the long run(like 3 years of flips) for this special to even out, but hopefully you go on a hot streak and get lots of shit for free. Otherwise, the next option is your best bet.
7-10pm:241s on everything except for shots. The website says 241s starts at 8pm, but that's a lie. It's 7pm. Trust me.
8-10pm: $1 Domestics and well drinks. I'm calling to set up a 'reservation' today, so if you're a domestic beer drinker(like am I), this is the deal for you. $1 pints can't steer you wrong. If you still want your 241s of Grey Goose/Redbull, like the fratboy I know you are, you can still do that, too.
If you get there early enough, they have a free bar food buffet(wings, deli sandwiches, carrots for the fucking hippies), and free burgers and hotdogs from out back on the grill. Not too shabby.
10pm-?? Like I'm going to be sober enough to care what you do. I'll be pliable and open to suggestions by this point, I'm sure. But, I'm too old to do shots and too gay for strip clubs, thanks.
Saturday: Mac's $2 pint night, 7pm-12pm. Not sure what time, but that's the plan so far. The Mac's guys are good people, that's why I decided on heading there.
That's it. Would be nice of you to show your pretty, smiling faces. Unless you're a creepy, bitter, stalkerish asshole. You people can stay far-the-fuck away from me!
