Color!
I moved into J's house (our house) with the intention of decorating everything to make it a really cool home. Then I got distracted with the "living with the boyfriend/fiance glow" and totally forgot. Then I got busy with graduate school and forgot some more. Then this weekend came by and I thought, I'm living here for at least another 2 years, we need some color! So I went to Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond and got some inspiration....starting with our very bleak bathroom. White, white, and more white. And god help me but he had a dark red shower curtain and a green rug. Sigh...
So girl power to the rescue. I bought a blue-green collection of a shower curtain, rug, and fun things for the counter. Still need some pictures and curtains and other knick knacks to add some life to it but so far a good start. Other rooms will be next. I realized I can only do one room at a time or my mind will burst. At least now I feel happy when I brush my teeth.
