This is D'Artagnan, our new potential family member.

He's got two conditions to meet to go permanent. First, I have to have reasonable allergic reactions that improve (which is pretty much how I deal with cats). So far, some light chest issues, but no itching, eye watering, or sniffling, so it's a good start. Second, he has to play nice with Magua. Surprisingly, Magua was out and about very quickly, and has shown interest in being near. D'Art has been a little high-strung when the cat is near though, so hopefully that will get corrected quickly.

He's a year old (roughly), so done growing mostly. He's a pitbull/something mix (we're thinking Lab). Much like his namesake, he's full of energy and still quite a gentleman. He's been super-eager to please us, so he's taking direction well. His strength was surprising, but manageable. Again, he listens to direction fairly well, so that's helpful. He loves people a whole lot and gets along with other dogs, which is good for our neighborhood, since we have lots of both on the sidewalks. We're going to do the training with him anyway just to get him on the best of behaviors.

Also, Tracy was sweet and got him a pretty black collar with skull and crossbones embroidered around it, very fitting.
