Holly hot weather batman! This minimum +35 business can go away anytime. I remember the summers in Thunder Bay, there would always be those 2 scorching hot weeks that were un-bearable. Ugggh. It's been like that for a month and a half now. People down here are always talking about the horrible winters they have and that they would trade the winter for summer any day. I often ask what a 'horrible' winter consists of. And I always seem to get the same answer. Apparently on really cold days (maybe a week tops) the temperature with the windchill hits -20. Wtf? Wieners! I'll be such a pro in the winter.
My mom called us yesterday and decided that she's overly bored in Thunder Bay. So she decided to book a flight today and come down for a visit. So we're gonna go to Pearson tonight and pick her up. It'll be nice to see her again. Eric's uber homesick so it'll do him good. Plus he'll have someone to drink beer with.
Paco is also coming down for a visit within the next few days. Yay for summertime!
