three hopeful thoughts....
last night was the second weekly fort night. san diego and houston unite. alex had a bit of trouble with his building skills last night and slept on the floor. i, however, made a successful fort fit for a queen. it was massive and cozy. we had one of our best talks yet. i opened up to him, and it really made sense too. i'm not scared or overwhelmed anymore. i've never been someones little petunia before. haha.
what a day. in this life. went to the doctors today, for the millionth time this month. but everything is OK. yea! then i went to ikea with my aunt for like hours. so much great stuff. talked to my mom, gigie, my dad, flavia, AND my new roommate. we had like a split second conversation about the neverending story of figuring out what to wear before a night out on the town. and then my phone died. dang! she sounds so so nice, and i'm so relieved.
last things: i got into the honors program at my school (even though the interview was less than great...haha), october=alligator x one million!!!!!, super cute gold shoes from brazil, matt is here this weekend=the CURE!!!
