Elementary the Verdict!!
Looked at ep 2 of Elementary.
It was a snoozer.
My hubby and I sat down to look and with the location of the armoire we were both yawning. I think there may be a problem with delivery of lines and timing because even when interesting things are happening they are tedious to watch. Hubby declared that the ep was boring and he does not see any connection to Sherlock Holmes. He calls the show. House meets Monk ^^ Though to be fair both House and MOnk are a lot more enjoyable.
Elementary!Holmes now seems to be Sherlock Holmes' slightly smart cousin twice removed. Where are the leaps of logic that has the audience flailing around in amazement as Holmes delivers brilliant deductions? Last night we figured everything out before HOlmes and we weren't even really paying attention due to the tedium.
There is no chemistry between Holmes and Watson and I dare say Watson does not seem like she will even be a good companion to HOlmes much more for being his best friend and partner for life. Things might have been redeemed if she had been posing as a doctor to test the validity of the coma or maybe if her boyfriend Tai turns out to be Moriarty.
Let's face it. If I realise that the doctor did it for two eps then even Holmes should figure out earlier that the doctor always does it. Why did the doctor do it again? So predictable. T_T
Oh well, I will watch the whole season (maybe) but next week might be the last time I look at it at 10pm on a Thursday. *sigh*
