Way to state the blatantly obvious, Terr.

Have nothing better to say then?

Not sure what I could get away with.

Getting yelled at again?

Who the sod cares what you can and cannot get away with? If you have something to say then just say it. Holding your tongue isn't like you at all.

And yes, I'm getting yelled at. She absolutely refuses to see my point of view.

Honestly, these books are bloody stupid sometimes. You'd think she'd come speak with me privately or something instead of chastising me in front of the entire school.

Who cares? Right now, me.

Never mind.

She's like that. A lot, from what I've seen. I've had more arguments with that woman than I can count.

Fine.

It appears that the argument has been resolved. She had the audacity to get sentimental with me and you know that I'm a complete sap and a pushover when it comes down to it.

Apparently she'll throw herself to the dogs so I can live. Isn't that lovely?

It's absolutely horrible when women of a certain age decide to play that card. They've got experience we don't.

And I saw. I saw it all. She never offered me anything like that. I guess she does look after her House...

...

'Terr'?

Well, of course she's supposed to look after her own House. Doesn't Flitwick do the same for you?

Not to mention your House ghost, whom you seem to be spending a lot of time with lately.

...

Er. I thought you hadn't noticed.

Right. Sorry about that.

Oh, to a greater or lesser extent he does. He's quite bookish, however.

...How fitting.

And, yes, The Grey Lady is very involved, as well. Isn't the Fat Friar?

I just noticed.

I don't think any of us are currently working very closely with the Fat Friar on a one-on-one basis.

And yes. Sorry. Won't happen again.

Well, yes, there is that. Does he really have nothing to do with any of you on that level, however?

Don't worry about it.

Not as far as I can tell. Usually he's off drinking ale with the other ghosts.

You must feel very fortunate, being the only one chosen to help her.

How do ghosts drink ale? Aren't they rather ectoplasmic by now?

And I'm not all that fortunate.

I've never asked. I see him with a stein, he drinks out of it, he's a monk. I assumed that it was ale. Perhaps it's fermented ectoplasm. Either way it still gets him pretty pissed.

You're not that fortunate? What do you mean?

Perhaps it's merely a memory of what he should do. The stein and the pissedness, I mean.
