Hokay, so here's a meme I got from
doc_moreau, along with my answers to his questions.
Rules
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview Me." (or something else if you wish to be original)
2. I may respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You have the option to update your LJ with the answers to the questions. (I want to see them somehow.)
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others asking to be interviewed comment, you will ask them 5 questions.
1.I may have been enlightened concerning this before, but where does your name originate from? (bootler)
Kind of a boring story, but here we are. When I was a kid I went to a performing arts day camp every summer. Every year there was a different theme, which decided what the skits/dances/songs etc would be about for the residal at the end of the camp. One year the theme was shoes, and the skit I was in was a Clue based dealy. I was the butler, which got changed to Bootler for shoes. Later on, I used that as my name when I became a counsellor for the same camp. And the Bootler was born :D
2.How long have you known Fweeh?
Uhm...since grade 10, so...8 years? Yeah, that's about right. But we didn't become really good friends until midway between grade 11.
3.Give me a few juicy bits of insight into your personal therianthropy, if you wouldn't mind.
This is a tough question, 'cause I'm not sure that my personal beliefs really fits with the dogma or whatever of therianthropy. That said being said, I have always felt a kinship with wolves. But it's not that I feel like a wolf spirit trapped in a human body. It's more that I'm human, but also have a bit of wolf too. Perhaps a second spirit. There are times when I feel the wolf more strongly, the call of the night or the moon or nature. I love and miss the physical expression of friendship/love. The "community pillow" that was so common when I was in high school, and then later with you guys at AC. Play-fighting and wrestling. But I'm still very much human. I dunno. Hope that answered the question.
4.What are your feelings about horse-slaughter in Canada?
I will admit that I don't know much/anything about it. But. Basically anything that ends in the death of a bunch of innocent animals, there are no words for how horrific that is.
5.Are you going to try and attend anthrocon next year with us? (at least i hope most of us will be able to make it)
Totally! I had such an awesome time this year, it was better than I could have possibly hoped. So I will be making every effort to be there next year.
In other news . . . I have no other news. Only a week left of work, maanged to write a dinky little bit of backstory for the
twister story. Seriously need to get some work done on my thesis. Meeting with Elaine on Wednesday and I've been procrastinating, as per usual. In a week I get to see the new Cirque du Soleil, which rocks. Stupid Jamie can't come *dark look*, but it will be awesome anyway. I love my birthday :D
Hugs and howls to all.
