Whining
Can someone explain to me why you're whole body aches when you have a cold? As if you aren't miserable enough with the sneezing and the coughing and the headache and the running nose. Why must muscles ache as well? Honestly. Whoever designed that was just a sadistic bastard . . .

Anyway. Still sick. Actually feeling much better, but still sick. Every time I blow my nose the chick sitting in the cube next to me makes a face. Part of me is considering throwing kleenex at her, but I think that may be unnecessarily cruel. I suppose I could have stayed home today, possibly should have, but I still don't get paid sick days, and I went for a fancy lunch this afternoon. Happy to say that I'm not so sick that I've lost the ability to taste food. It was a really nice lunch, and I didn't have to pay for it. Yay parents!
Have a "writing staff" meeting for the mud tonight. The staff is only me and one other guy, but that's okay. I think we've pretty much worked everything out, so hopefully it'll be a short meeting. After which I can zonk out in front of the TV and watch the end of West Wing season 4.

Weirdest thing just happened. I answered my phone (shocking, I know), and there was a recording saying "Thank you for calling NCO financial companies, all of our representatives are currently on the line". Quite impressive. They call and put me on hold. Bah.
Only an hour and a half to go. And then I can pass out in the car. Yay!
