A heart torn in two by one,
Slowly mended back by another,
But still the heart is undecided,
To stay with the mender
Or run back to the breaker?
It should be an easy choice, right?
Stay with the mender,
Who has all the qualities missing from the breaker
But all mender isn’t all that perfect either,
Missing the key qualities that the breaker has.
But all the while,
The heartaches remembering all the fun times and joy
Along with all the pain and suffering.
If the heart goes back,
Knowing what the outcome was the first time,
It risks getting hurt and broken again.
But if it stays with the mender,
It might never know if the breaker has changed.
