my poem. . .
Fallen
Fallen leaves lay on the ground,
As they have all year round.
Memories shall stay with me,
But the leaves and moments cant, you see?
For the leaves will soon be nothing more
Than just a simple thing I shall mourn.
As the leaves have gone,
I too, shall go
For now the sun’s setting,
And new leaves are budding.
For yet another season has past us all-
But for me, this has been the worst of all
Because one leaf close to me
Has fallen to His feet.
I know there are more leaves, but this one meant more to me
Than another leaf on this big tree.
You see, me and the leaf were more than friends,
It cannot be replaced and I will never see it again.

Our memories together shall stay deep within me
But the leaf and the moments we shared will not
For it has fallen to His feet
But I will wait restless till the day we shall meet
So happily together until the end of time we shall be.
