Frustrations...

So, I had my housing registration today. It went by the lottery system, and I was #456. Quite far back on the list. The guys and I had the situation all figured out for next year, and what happens? Some random person takes the last spot in our suite. Now I know he had no idea, but he told me it was the last single room available, period. That was a lie. There were a couple left when I registered.
This is the part of the story where Nathan screws up...
I originally had no idea you could switch rooms starting next Monday. Therefore I took a double. Its cheaper and near the guys. Now, what I could have done was picked a single and switched rooms with that guy on Monday. So as of now I have a double(no idea who the roommate is yet), and all of the singles in east tower happen to be full. I'm kicking myself for not realizing it sooner.
This is the idea that I hope works...
Its kinda confusing but it should make all parties happy. The double I am currently signed up for would go to my friend who has a single in the same suite. My friend's single would go to the guy who took the spot in our suite. I would then get the single in our suite. Confusing?
I need to keep my mind off this for awhile. It's driving me nuts!
