I went to the hospital today to visit http://www.livejournal.com/users/orsochicago/ & was glad he looked much better than he described. He has a staph infection in his leg. I brought him 2 pints of Mango flavored Sorbet, his favorite & a belated Birthday gift, a stuffed Aviator Teddy Bear. The Doctor does want to discuss a possible removal of his spleen. http://www.livejournal.com/users/orsochicago/ is not ready for major surgery of that type & wants a second opinion which I think should be done. The only major surgery I have gone thru is a appedectomy when I was 13 1/2, so I don't know what the risks involved living without a spleen. He will know more on Monday when he sees the Doctor.
