Aww, thanks! I'm glad you like them and I'm glad you think Goku's worked out, because that one gave me the most trouble.

I like that line best of that piece. It's somehow very Hakkai where the rest of the fic isn't as much.

I like the line too - I just find it amusing. XD

Well... maybe the rest of the fic is more mildly-angst-Hakkai? Which isn't something you often see in the anime. Well, not really angst, more like the 'serious' side the anime doesn't.... 'promote'... um... reinforce? not as much as his smileyness and odd humour, at any rate. Or something... yeah....

It's not just the Saiyuki fandom... butbutbut....tis amusing how people tend to use the characters as... adjectives. Ahh... my english teacher would have an epiphany over this.

True! Visible mildly-angst-Hakkai is almost OOC by definition because he almost always covers it up and when he can't cover it up anymore it's much more than mild angst. Which is probably also why they can't show it in the anime very well. But it doesn't seem OOC here, which I'll blame on the pov *love for second person*

But, but, they make such good adjectives! And when you keep talking about characters and their traits it makes so much sense to just adjectify them because it saves so much hassle! I mean, what else am I supposed to say? ;_; ;)

I'm not saying it's a bad thing - it's quite useful to use their names, and it helps convey... a... sense/aura you can't convey with just adjectives. Like, saying someone is Goku-ish versus saying someone is always cheerful and hyper.... It's... somehow... different? Eh.... >.< I'm confused.... Goku probably wasn't the best example. ehehehe....
