Antiques Roadshow
Yesterday I had a fabulous day out with Bob. Imagine the two of us out antique-ing. It was hysterical but we had a great time. I didn't think he'd be as into it but he was. We found a great antiques mall downtown. Not Just Antiques Mart. I highly recommend it. They people were great. The selection and pricing was great. They also have a tea room. I found a great vintage costume jewelry dealer there. I will definitely go back. I was not as impressed with Red Rooster. If you don't want to be bothered to make a sale, I'll kindly oblige.
My vintage collection is growing and I'm having a bit of a moral debate. Part of me really wants a floor mounted safe. The other more stylish part, wants a vintage/antique jewelry box. Maybe I'll compromise and get an antique safe. :P I don't know. I just want to do all I can not to lose it all again. *sigh*
In other news, ESTA is sponsoring this certified uber electrician's test at LDI this year. PRG is going to pay for and pay four of us to take it. I have been nominated. I really don't want to take it. I need to study a LOT if I have any hope of passing it. I have forgotten so much stuff over the years. My work is so super-specialized now. If it were just a moving light test, I would be all about it. Not to mention I don't really think this concept will take off. Anyhoo, I'm stressed about it.
