Meme picked up from ever_neutral: Pick 13 of your ships and write down a quote for each of them. Have your flist guess the ships without using Google / imdb.
One of the remaining ones is a same sex couple. Not gonna tell you which one.
Two of the remaining ones are sitcoms/comedies. I think it's easy to guess which ones.
For #3, the crucial thing is where they are - what is the place that A refers to in "I couldn't face the rest of my life living in here without you."
For #4, it's also crucial where they are, i.e. what they're a part of (which is why I had to censor that part). It's a story that has had a few different versions, on the big and small screen. This one was a TV show. Here's another quote for that pairing: B: ... You weren't home when I called. A: I went out for dinner. Why? Is that a problem? B: No. A: All right, _______. So, what is this? So, I went out for dinner. What do you care? B: (He tells nothing). A: Patented _______ answer, the blank stare. If you are jealous, just be jealous. Tell me not to see him. B: Is that all it would take? A: Maybe...Maybe not. But at least it would be something real. Emotion. Instead of this cryptic game of 20 questions.
#13 are, unusual for the pairings I like, totally functional and happy. They're the most loving, passionate married couple ever, great parents, they take care of elderly members of their family and take them in, their butler is very devoted and they treat him well, they're great hosts, very sociable and hospitable, they like to give to their community - in a word, they are wonderful people, in some ways too good to be true...
...But people just don't appreciate it because they're, uh, a little peculiar and eccentric. ;-)
