Can I do Buffy fandom in general? I don't know how to split it from the show opinions... and imagine trying to come up with 5 ships you like just in the comics (how many ships are there in the comics?) or decide who's the most attractive character when drawn by Jeanty! :D

Favorite character: Buffy or Spike (don’t make me choose)
Least Favorite character: for the show, Ben or Adam or the Anointed One. For the comics, TwAngel.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Buffy/Spike, Xander/Anya, Willow/Oz, Giles/Jenny, Willow/Tara. As a bonus: Buffy/Angel in the high school seasons (great story) and Xander/Cordelia.
Character I find most attractive: Spike in every shape and form (even though Jeanty doesn’t do him justice)
Character I would marry: Souled!Spike
Character I would be best friends with: Buffy, we would argue from time to time. If she tried to order me around in season 7, I’d have none of that. Maybe I’d get along better with Willow.
a random thought: Depending on how seasons 9 and 10 go, the comics may end up being a really good continuation of the show or not, but whatever happens, I’ll always be happy they exist because they retconed the stupid Buffy/the Immortal thing from The Girl In Question. Random thought #2: I adore Always Darkest.
An unpopular opinion: Just one? Here’s a few: Season 6 is my favorite. I love Seeing Red and I don’t think either Spike or Buffy were OOC. Season 1 is underrated. For the comics: I’m much happier with season 8 as a continuation of BtVS than I was with season 5 of AtS as the last canon word on Buffy.
my canon OTP: Buffy/Spike
Non-canon OTP: Giles/Joyce (as more than a teen!one-night stand). Faith/Spike would be fun, but would probably be just a fling.
(I really don't understand the concept of *One* True Pairing, don't I? ;) )
most badass character: Buffy, obviously. But Spike has become really badass as a good guy (way more than he was as a villain - another unpopular opinion).
pairing I am not a fan of: Buffy/Angel in season 8 (possibly my least favorite pairing in anything ever) and in End of Days/Chosen. Buffy/Xander as... anything romantic. Xander/Willow as a romantic couple. Willow/Kennedy is just meh. I liked Buffy/Riley as a part of Buffy’s story, but they really lacked chemistry.
character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): I’m not sure if they screwed them up, but Giles’s role in seasons 6-7 was disappointing. For the comics, Angel’s had a really rough time.
favourite friendship: Buffy/Willow, Buffy/Giles, Faith/the Mayor. Favorite frenemiship: Buffy/Faith.
character I want to adopt or be adopted by: Giles, especially since I don’t have a father (that I ever lived with) and he’s got no kids. But he’d have to work to earn my forgiveness after season 7 (even though I get why he did it, but still...)

Me too! I love the way Emmie talks about this. I actually like AtS S5 just fine on its own, but S8 was necessary I feel. Whatever happens with S9/10, I think S8 tied up a lot of really big questions.
