Hn...the internet on my computer decided to spaz out kerflooey because I, get this, updated the security. It smells a bit like irony and tastes a lot like inconvenient! :D
Never-the-less! I walked down to my local library where they have computers with intarweb access. Sure there's a time limit, and people walking around all over who could look ( Read more... )

Haha, I post at odd hours. ;D (Because it's so much fun to wake up and find twenty-some new emails in my inbox from LJ comment notifications.)

Hugs! Hugs are always welcome. ^_^

I remembered that I haven't given you cookies in a while so you get some now.

By the way, do you take character cameo requests?

I've been compiling a list of wee canon characters for use in this, and it's a bit on the thrifty side. Cameo requests are welcome. ;)

Is it Luke or Louie?

Luke McDunnagh with the nickname Louie (and also Lu).

Wow. Names work different in your world! :D

I am honestly perplexed. ;)
I'll have you know I took the nickname "Louie" directly from the JLA issue where Luke first appears. (Though he also goes by the name "Loogie" in that, so meh.)

Seriously, WTF? I get the feeling I'm missing something. Enlighten me! Oh god, I want the knowledge! *is an info junkie* ;D

Goldie's forgone her suit for just her flight ring? No wonder she's getting marriage proposals. ;)

Loved it, although I must admit that I was a little lost at first, what with the jumping back pre-prologue and then working back up towards it -- I thought the first scene was set after the prologue. Still, once I worked it out, I was okay. ;) And yay for Adam West references! They never, ever go astray. *g*

... *facepalm* I meant.... She's wearing other clothes! *flail* Pockets! See the pockets? Those aren't invisible AU storage pockets she carries around with her! *flails s'more for the hell of it*

Heh, I like to keep you guessing. ;) (Glad you worked it out. I know stories that hop around through time without telling me can be irritating.)

I think that was partially inspired by someone's icon of Batman running away after spraying "Female Supervillain Repellant." Which in turn reminded me of that thing where Mr. Myx--whatever-his-name-is and Bat-Mite were going through a bunch of parallel universes, destroying each one. One such universe was the Adam West-esque one. So I figured...eh. ;) *cheery shrug*

The pockets didn't turn up until the third sentence! For the second sentence, she was naked. NAKED NAKED NAKED.

Eee, this was...enlightening. And we get to see more of Goldie, yay!

You, uh, are going to find poor Junior's parents in that alternate universe, right? *begging eyes*

EDIT: The link you have on your Mullet-verse page doesn't lead to this chapter; it leads to Mullet-verse Redux chapter 1.

^_^ I live to enlighten. (Just ask my sister, whose grammar I correct all the time! XD)
And yes, I think I can safely say that there will be more Goldie.

You, uh, are going to find poor Junior's parents in that alternate universe, right? *begging eyes*

...You know that saying "cruel to be kind"? Yeah I'm not really sure what it means, so I'm just gonna alternate between the two. ;)

EDIT: Fixed the link! Oog, long night, man. -_- And the effects of the library patrons were probably still...effecting me. (And now my excuse for being less than brilliant is that I just woke up from that long night. *yawn*)
Thanks for the heads-up. :)
