Author's Notes: phoenixfire_lia emailed me to let me know that a CBR article about a HeroesCon panel mentioned "a dead character will be brought back for good in an upcoming issue of Booster Gold." This happened all of a sudden when she pointed out that the "only dead characters Booster actually cares about are Ted and Shel."
So...yeah. There should probably be more to this, but I'm just happy to get something finished.

"So you risked the entire space-time continuum to get this 'best friend' of yours back. Am I understanding that correctly?"
"Er...yes?"
Grinning teasingly, Shel clasped her hands in front of her chest and cooed, "Awww, Mikey's in looooove."
"Shel!"
"You want to marry him and have a gajillion babies and--ACK! Ha, hair-pulling? You little girl!"
"We're just friends!"
"Just friends who go through heaven and hell to rescue each other?"
"Yes."
Shel stopped suddenly and stared at her brother, awe creeping into her expression. "You really are in love. Oh, Mikey...."
"C'mon, Shel..." Booster protested, blushing.
"Well what are we standing around for?" she asked, clapping her hands decisively. "Let's go save your boyfriend."
"He's not my boyfriend."
Shel raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Yet."
