Just bringing another snippet here, it's kinda loosely set after the hugpollen ones I wrote earlier.

Fatherhood
"I mean, seriously Beetle stop laughing. I mean...BEETLE!"
Ted tried really hard but it was just too good. Controlling the giggles just made him shake right off his chair and he gave in, snickering from the floor, one hand pointed up at his best friend.
Booster tried to ignore him. Turned pleadingly towards Green Lantern. "Why me? I mean really, why did she do it to me?" He looked up at the green clad man, eyes wide and bottom lip trembling.
Hal rubbed his hand through his hair, barely hiding his own amused (and slightly scandalised) smirk. "If I were you, I wouldn't mind too much Booster. It's growing really quick, only two more months and you'll be able to start training him, or her, soon. Think about it, your own little sidekick."
Booster paused in his whining. He looked very thoughtful. One hand settled on his swelling stomach. A slow smile spread across his face, this might not be too bad after all. He'd have a family again.
Hal stirred. "Zatanna may have been angry at you but I think this will turn out all right." (One half of the Blue and Gold comedy team would be out for months; the league would be able to relax for a while, free of practical jokes.)
The room was blissfully silent for a minute. Then Guy Gardner walked in.
He just stood and stared at first, unbelieving, and then started to chuckle. Soon through wheezing gasps he got out one sentence.
"Who's the father Boost?"
Hal's smirk widened as he watched the dawning horror in Blue Beetle's eyes.
