Daddy made his first full post today, and he included a picture! He was such an adorable little stinker! :) Now he's an adorable big stinker! :D
This is the coldest winter we've had in seven years. The amount of snow we've gotten reminds me of New Year's 2000. We had a blizzard come through right in time for the holiday. Some friends of mine were out of town and needed me to look after their dogs. I was out on the road despite the fact that police were telling folks to stay off the roads because the dogs had to be fed and let out to pee. Their dog, Spunky, was tall for a Jack Russell terrier, but she had to pee standing up because the snow was all the way up to her hips. She gave me the blackest look while she was going. I couldn't help but laugh! We might get to that point if we get the 6-12 inches expected on top of the ten we already have!
My job means a LOT to me! When I started I had no clue that I would ever enjoy it as much as I do. The kids are just darling and so loving. I find myself missing them when I'm away. Talking with them, sharing with them, doing for them....it just makes me happy. They make me happy! I'm a lucky gal to have such a job.
