Issue #6: The Milk Flu

[This was the second day he had drank the milk, while he had heard it was doing horrible things it just made Booster feel well...  Like the floor of a taxi cab yesterday, and today seemed to be much the same.  That being said there was danger on the streets and his recent regain of his super suit back meant he felt he probably should do something

[He crashes to the ground with a thud and groans, then looks up]

"What's up Mae?"

Just checking up on you. I noticed you'd left.

"Oh... You know me... Always doing... Something..."

[He holds his stomach and shakes his head before standing up]

Great. Now you can continue to do something by walking back to the house before you pass out.

"I'll be fine really. I just.. Have... The flu... Or something."

You look like you've been drinking irradiated toilet water.

Come on, you're going back to lay down.

"Never done that before... I just drank the milk. Going back? Uh, ok I guess."

I recommend avoiding that little adventure. Trust me.

"I will keep that in mind in the future."

[He takes her arm]

"In general though I'd think you'd want to avoid any toilet water."

You get a little desperate when you're in the middle of nowhere and your water supplies are empty.

[Yeah, things she's had to do to survive early on when she had nothing to her name but a handful of caps? A lot of horrible stuff.]

"Can't argue that. Once I was back in the 1940's with no water, that was before radiation really got to be an issue."

That's good.

I was helping a woman write a survival guide for the wasteland once. Had to drink so much irradiated water, it was disgusting.

Mutated a little because of it too.

"I hope you got paid really well for that. I know when I went through that time virus thing it mutated too and that was no fun."
