[During one the times Michael is walking through town, he might get the feeling of something large wheeling up behind him on the sidewalk, stopping just behind him, followed by a rather childish sounding voice.]

Um, excuse me, do you mind if I pass by you? I can't use the road in town because the drones keep shooing me off it like I'm a dog...

[Yes, Tachikoma is out around town trying to see what it can see. At least what the drones will let it see. At least no one has called the dog catcher on it. Yet.]

[He turns around and blinks]

"Wow.. You're a big killbot thing. Max didn't send you, did he?"

[Tachikoma leans back in surprise at 'killbot,' but quickly recovers and crosses its arms as it begins to lecture.]

How rude! I'm not a killbot, I'm a Tachikoma! Tachikomas are support think tanks for Public Security Section 9 and we don't kill unless it's absolutely necessary or in defense. And even then, with the vast majority of our targets having undergone some form of cyborgization, dispatching them through means that would seem fatal to natural humans won't actually be fatal as long as the brain case is intact!

[Tachikoma gives a nod as if to say 'there' as it finishes and seems to relax.]

But no, I wasn't sent by anybody at all, I was just looking around town again. Who's Max? Is he a friend of yours?

"Uh Max... No. He just liked using killbots. Looking around town, man, I wish Skeets were here, you two'd probably get off like gangbusters."

[Tachikoma looks a little confused at the use of slang.]

...Gang busters? I don't think I've ever busted up a gang. Section 9 usually deals with cyber terrorism though, so I guess you could consider stopping those gangs.

But who is Skeets? Is he like Mr. Batou? Or Miki? I get along with them really well.
