There is so much to love about this chapter, it's great. The location is thoroughly Booshy; I can absolutely picture it. And it's full of so many lovely little moments of fondness; the fact that Howard immediately goes haring off as soon as he hears Vince's voice, their little domestic bedtime scene, Vince throwing himself at Howard in a hug and making sure he's alright, no rags in his hair. And then, the fact that Vince spent time customising his rags with sequins-- that he, in fact, wasted time doing that, and that he knows it, but he was so distressed! And Howard reassuring him that the sequins look good-- that is perfectly in character for both of them.

And soooo many brilliant little turns of phrase; as solid as Nicky “Hot Tuba” Malone’s third and final jazz record made me SHRIEK with laughter. And the banter! The quip about Harpoon Moon and Moby Dick, and that Vince just picked the oldest, ugliest mirror in the room because he knew that'd be the one Howard went through-- properly, properly Booshy, seriously.

And Vince saw Fossil too! I can't wait to see how they get out, and how things start coming together. Things are building most intriguingly.
