The pen glides rapidly over the paper in jerky elliptical movements. Vince pokes his tongue out as he holds the stator down firmly, the plastic gears clicking against each other continuously.

The best part about this, in his opinion, is that you don’t really know how well it’s gone until it’s over. It’s practically done in blindness, like kissing someone with your eyes closed. When do you know enough is enough?

He tentatively uncovers the paper and surveys his handiwork. It’s a galaxy of pink and purple.

A shadow falls over him. “Vince! Stop drawing all over my Global Explorer!”
