A/N: Last minute submission for Challenge 15: Time and Memory. A concept straining at the boundaries of the drabble word limit...
Howard shivers as an arm snakes around his middle.
"Howard..." Vince's breath is hot against his neck.
"Don't," Howard says warningly.
"I want you," Vince whines and Howard feels a spike of need shoot through him.
"We can't," Howard insists. "You know why," he adds, forestalling the inevitable question. Vince sighs petulantly.
"I know. But it's so hard." Howard considers the insistent erection poking against his thigh and concedes that this is an apt description of the current situation. "It's been ages."
"Maybe you should..." Howard pauses, swallows, "Go out and..."
"Don't you dare. I want you." A reckless breath. "I love you."
"Shh!" Howard hisses frantically, face contorting in fear. "You know the trouble we got in last time, on the roof. They sent me away!"
"No-one's watching now. We haven't been on telly for ages."
"But the film... our contracts..." Howard protests.
"Leroy says those aren't legally binding. Especially the bit about you staying a virgin."
"If we just wait..."
"How long for? What if they never make the film? What if we get left in limbo forever? Forever's a long time to wait Howard."
Resolve cracking, Howard pulls Vince to him fiercely.
"Let's not wait anymore, then."
