Ahaha, thank you! I both love and hate that you wish there was more of it because the idea's been kind of taunting me with its WAYS and won't entirely leave me alone. So you may get your wish. ;P

This is wonderful, it's very Richmond while giving him some much needed extra details. I like the technical metaphor a lot too. He was Denholm's right hand man, he's got smarts and skills (probably more so than Denholm).

Yay, thank you! I'm glad it reads Richmond-y-- I haven't got the firmest grip on his character yet. But he's such fun. And I agree he's got to have some mad skills somewhere, because Denholm? Not always the sharpest tack.

Apparently Danzig knows kickboxing, so yeah. Leave it to Ashcroft. XD

It must be a glitch. He can code blindfolded and half-mad on absinthe (and has--thank you, Denholm), but he's rubbish with hardware.
Hahah, loved this bit especially. XD Richmond WOULD have some mad coding skills.

I have this half-baked sort of fantasy/idea where Denholm was putting Richmond's mad coding skills to use cooking the books on the pension funds without Richmond knowing what his programs were doing. But I don't know what I'd do with that. Mostly my brain just wants David and Richmond being cuddly and bantering.

And just so you know, David was called John for a bit, and then I realized what I'd done. ;P

I thought this was good but I think this idea is bigger than the word count. I think you need to expand it if it's going to be as truly excellent as it could be. Honestly; that first paragraph alone should be expanded. Moar!
