WHAT IS GOING ON IN TAKSIM? We gathered in Taksim Gezi Park on the night of may 31, to stand against for "shopping mall project" in Taksim. We started the movement of "occupy geziparki", fighting for nature, fighting for our park. Today at 5am, …on the 4th day of our movement, police attacked activists with tear gas and fired the tents. Thousands of people are fighting in Taksim since morning. …Our friends are injured, our friends died. Today at 7pm thousands of people came together in Taksim to get the park back. Police forces attacking us with tear gas and pressured water. Our government, our police is attacking us. We are fighting back against their dictatorship. Now, this movement is something bigger. We are fighting against the fascism, against the dictatorship, against the illegality. Tonight, we will try to get back our park. We will get back our freedom and rights.
