A Mid-March update
Sometimes I feel extremely old an wise, and then the rest of the time I feel young and immature and so unexperienced. It's annoying, and unsettling, and I don't know what to make of it...
But anyways, it's time for an Update!!!
So, in the last month, I've become Enamored of Margaret Cho, Fallen in love with a new fandom/pairing (Arthur/Merin from BBC's Merlin), Worked a bunch on Pride Prom '09, and found amazing people in my friends.
Now it's spring Break, and I am simultaneously relieved to get a break, and worried that I won't be able to get back into the rhythm of things.
Last night, I found out just how much I LOVE Karaoke. My new favorite bar, Club 209, has "Sound of Music Sundays" every week, and I had a BLAST!!! 209 is a gay bar in Tulsa's Brady District, but it's so cool and relaxed and DIFFERENT from any other gay bar I've ever been to. I also have homework from the KJ. I'm supposed to learn a song by Blues Traveler because I apparently sound exactly like the singer. Hmm.
I know there's more, but I can't think of it right now.
The only other thing I can really think of is that I've completely lost my heart to the Arthur/Merlin pairing. The stories people write are so touching and intimate without necessarily being overtly sexual and OMG MY THERAPIST WAS RIGHT I THINK LIKE A GIRL and crap...
