Things are just getting better...
I didn't want to mention anything yet since it is technically not official but I think that I got promoted the other day.
As everyone knows or does not know, things at Blockbuster have been, well, HELL!!! After 5 people jumped off the boat, including our store manager, things haven't been the same. Its been so stressful since we didn't have a leader for so long, but thankfully Rosie and Eric, our Shift Leaders managed despite the great odds. So yesterday we finally met our new Store Manager, Pam. I was a little worried at first since Satan (Sue Massie) and Satan's Little Asskisser (Lauren from South Taylor) held this secret meeting in the back with the new boss for over an hour. But after they left things lightened up quickly and Pam didn't seem so bad. So after things settled down I decided to get enough courage to explain to her my sad story, of working for Blockbuster for 5 years making very poor pay. So she asked me if I had ever thought about moving up to a Shift Leader position, which I greatly wanted for the longest time, except Ian didn't want to give it to me due to my school schedule in the fall and winter. She said it didn't matter to her and told me that we'd get the paperwork together which would help me get a big boost in my pay. After that I was on cloud nine and couldn't believe what had just happened to me.
THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Ok I'm good, but its still not official but I can still be happy about it! WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
