Went for the StanChart marathon last Sun. I know its a bit late to talk about it now because many people had talk about it in their blog liao, haha. It is the first time I went for a marathon. At first, I thot i will not be able to complete it, but i did it eventually. Neva really train or condition my body for the long long run. Its a personal acheivement and i can at least tell people i completed a marathon in my life, thanks to Foo who convinced me to go for the run. I went with Foo but i lost him along the way while we were picking up some drinks on the way, saw a couple of 1st Coy people, it was hard but fulfilling. The last 5 km seemed neverending. When i crossed the Finish line, I feel so accomplished.
Went back to the lab to pass Boss some of the images of my experiments so that he can add them to the paper's manuscript, hopefully, my results can be published. I have been working in this lab for a year, come to think of it, i do miss the place a bit. But to ask me to start a new project, i think i will not be willing to spend another year there. heehee
Alvin lent me Kelvin's copy of 石欣卉's album 台北到北京. She had a English name, Sing. Sounds corny right, i wonder what her managers at Playmusic are thinking. The most ridiculous name i have heard so far is Fish Leong, but now I think Sing Chew can match that, haha. The album showcased Sing's(haha, still can't believe she adopted such a name) vocal prowess, she proved herself to be a credible singer, at least better than Kelly Poon ( my personal opinion). Her range is really huge! I like her high notes and falsetto, powerful but not compelling. Hope she will do well when she launch her album in Taiwan. But i have some reservations for her MV , so provocative , inviting much unnecessary criticism. Overall, the album is worth listening to.
